Edmund Bradley, age 82, filed an application for a Confederate Pension for service as a body servant, etc. 21 AUG 1925. In his application Bradley stated that his former master was Dr. William A. Pearman and that he entered the Confederate service in August 1861 when he was sent to work on the breastworks at Fort MacGruder near Williamsburg and thereafter cutting poles for wagons.
